A 69-year-old motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after a collision with a Cadillac in east Clarington on Sunday morning. According to Durham Police, the rider was traveling east on Concession Road 5, near Newtonville Road, when her Suzuki SFV collided with a westbound Cadillac around 11:30 a.m.

She was rushed to a Toronto trauma center with serious injuries, while the Cadillac driver remained at the scene and reported no physical injuries. The DRPS Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the incident, but the cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
