A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a transport truck on Plank Line Tuesday morning, prompting a lengthy road closure as police investigate.
Emergency crews were called to the scene between Prouse Road and Duffy Line at about 9:30 a.m. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the transport truck driver was uninjured.
Police have not released the victim’s identity or said what led to the crash. Plank Line is expected to remain closed for an extended period as investigators examine the scene.
