A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle is under investigation in London after the rider died in hospital Monday night.
Police and paramedics were sent to the Sarnia Road and Castlegrove Boulevard area at around 8 p.m. following reports of a collision. The motorcycle rider was transported to hospital in critical condition. Despite medical treatment, the rider later died from their injuries.
The other motorists involved stayed at the scene, and investigators have not provided details about possible charges.
Roads were closed around the crash site while police investigated and emergency crews worked in the area, but have since reopened.
Investigators are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or captured it on video. Police are particularly interested in dashcam recordings from vehicles travelling through the area between 7:45 and 8:20 p.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
