A 60-year-old Kitchener man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle crash in the city’s south end Sunday afternoon.
Waterloo Regional Police said the collision occurred around 3:05 p.m. on Ottawa Street South, near Homer Watson Boulevard. The motorcycle was involved in a single-vehicle crash.
The rider was transported to an out-of-region hospital for treatment.
Police closed nearby roads for several hours as officers investigated the circumstances of the collision. The affected roads have since reopened.
