A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash in Dufferin County on Saturday evening.
Dufferin OPP responded to River Road, between Mill Street and the Mulmur-Melancthon Townline, at about 5:40 p.m. following a report of a motorcycle that had crashed.
Investigators say the rider was part of a group travelling along River Road when the motorcycle veered off the road and collided with a tree.
The rider suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma centre in the Toronto area.
River Road was shut down for several hours as police and emergency crews responded to the collision and began their investigation.
