Ontario Provincial Police are searching for the driver of a white sedan involved in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Emergency crews responded to the scene at Wellington Road 51 and Wellington Road 39 around 11:15 a.m., where they found a motorcyclist who had been ejected from their bike.

Witnesses reported the white sedan was heading north on Wellington Road 39 when it suddenly turned left in front of the oncoming motorcycle. The rider attempted to brake but was thrown from the bike. The sedan did not stop and was last seen heading west on Wellington Road 51 toward Ariss.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a trauma centre. Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
