York Regional Police are seeking witnesses and video footage following a serious three-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Georgina on Friday morning. Around 8:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash at Ravenshoe Road and Kennedy Road involving two cars and a motorcycle.

Police found the black motorcycle heavily damaged in a ditch, with the rider nearby suffering serious injuries. The 32-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto hospital and remains in life-threatening condition. A dark grey SUV and a silver pickup truck were also involved, but their occupants were not seriously hurt.

Preliminary findings suggest the motorcycle and SUV were traveling westbound when the motorcycle struck the rear of the SUV. This impact caused the SUV to cross into oncoming traffic and collide with the pickup truck.

The exact cause of the initial collision is still under investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward to assist with the inquiry.
