A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash late Saturday night on the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto.
The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near Spadina Avenue. Emergency services transported the motorcyclist to hospital, where his injuries were deemed serious but not life-threatening.
Authorities have since charged him with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. While the crash temporarily shut down two eastbound lanes, normal traffic flow has now resumed.
