A 38-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Haldimand County on Sunday.

Emergency responders were called to the scene on Mississauga Road, between Highway 6 and Ojibway Road, around 7:07 p.m. Police reported that the crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, while the 51-year-old driver of the vehicle was uninjured. Police indicated that charges are expected.

The section of Mississauga Road between Highway 6 and Ojibway Road was closed for the investigation.
