A serious crash in Middlesex County early Wednesday morning left a driver with life-threatening injuries after their condition worsened following hospital admission.

Emergency crews were called just after 6:20 a.m. to the Thames Centre area after a vehicle collided with a hydro pole. The driver was initially believed to have non-life-threatening injuries but was later reclassified as being in critical condition.
