A driver suffered serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in north Barrie early Tuesday morning.
Barrie police said the collision happened around 4:40 a.m. near the intersection of Cundles Road West and Sunnidale Road, where an SUV left the roadway and ended up in nearby bushes.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash, and road closures were put in place while police examined the scene. The affected roads are expected to reopen shortly.
