A collision in Mississauga is causing traffic slowdowns Friday evening, with police urging motorists to avoid the area if possible.
Peel Regional Police say the crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m. near Rathburn Road and Cawthra Road. Investigators confirmed only one vehicle was involved.
The driver was transported to hospital as a precaution, though no serious injuries have been reported.
Following the crash, Rathburn Road was reduced to a single lane, leading to delays for drivers travelling through the area.
Police are advising commuters to seek alternate routes while crews respond and traffic congestion continues.
