A 60-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck during a multi-vehicle collision in Vaughan late Sunday morning.
York Regional Police say the crash occurred near Famous Avenue and Colossus Drive, just south of Highway 7 and east of Weston Road, shortly before noon.
The woman was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Colossus Drive remains closed between Weston and Famous as the Major Collision Investigation Unit continues to examine the scene.
