Six people were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision on the QEW in Grimsby overnight Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes near Casablanca Boulevard shortly before midnight. The crash involved three passenger vehicles and forced the closure of all westbound lanes heading toward Fort Erie. The eastbound side of the highway remained open.
Six people were transported to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police reopened all lanes by 3:17 a.m. following the investigation and cleanup at the scene.
