Three separate crashes in Brampton on Thursday afternoon sent three people to hospital and led to multiple road closures, according to Peel Regional Police.

The first collision occurred around 2 p.m. at Goreway Drive and the Highway 407 ramp, involving three vehicles. One man suffered minor injuries, and one driver was taken into custody. Northbound lanes on Goreway Drive between the 407 ramp and Intermodal Drive remain closed.

Minutes later, a two-vehicle crash at Clark Boulevard and Elrose Road left one man with serious injuries. Clark Boulevard is closed between Eastbourne Drive and Elrose Drive.

Shortly before 3 p.m., another crash involving a car and a truck occurred near Clark Boulevard and West Drive. A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and eastbound Clark Boulevard is closed from the Highway 410 north off-ramp to West Drive.

Police said the two Clark Boulevard crashes are unrelated and are advising drivers to use alternate routes while investigations continue.
