A serious two-vehicle collision in North York has left several people injured and prompted road closures in the area Sunday evening.
Toronto police say the crash happened around 6:54 p.m. at Black Creek Drive and Lawrence Avenue West, where officers arrived to find multiple injured individuals.
Paramedics transported two people to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Three others were taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police have not released details on what led to the crash but say the investigation is ongoing. Motorists are being warned to expect delays as parts of the intersection remain closed.
