A multi-vehicle collision involving a TTC bus and two other vehicles in Etobicoke has left up to nine people injured, according to police.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at Kipling Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West shortly before 3:30 p.m. One man in his 30s was transported to a trauma centre in unknown condition, while an elderly woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

It remains unclear how many of the injured were on the TTC bus. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Update – According to Toronto paramedics, seven people were transported to hospitals. One sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries while the other six sustained minor injuries.
