An afternoon vehicle fire in Midland spread between two cars but caused no injuries.
Emergency crews were called just after noon to a Walmart parking lot on Highway 12, where a parked vehicle had caught fire. Police say the flames quickly extended to a second nearby vehicle.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control, though one minivan was left heavily damaged. Authorities believe the fire was caused by a mechanical issue.
Officers remained on scene to support firefighters and maintain safety while the area was secured.
