GO Transit has resumed normal service on its Stouffville line following a morning collision involving a train and a dump truck.
The incident occurred just after 8:30 a.m. on Kennedy Road between Carlton Road and Highway 7. Police reported the train struck the back of the dump truck, but the driver was unharmed.
During the investigation, Metrolinx provided shuttle buses to transport passengers to the next station. Regular train service resumed just before noon, though some residual delays remain.
