A basement fire in London caused more than $200,000 in damage to a home on Tweedsmuir Avenue Sunday afternoon.
London Fire Department crews were called to the residence and encountered heavy black smoke and extremely limited visibility upon arrival.
Firefighters located the blaze in the basement and quickly brought it under control. No injuries were reported.
A fire prevention inspector is investigating the cause and circumstances of the fire.
