A 34-year-old driver has been charged after a dangerous incident on Highway 531 near Bonfield prompted an emergency response Tuesday evening.
Ontario Provincial Police, along with firefighters and paramedics, were called to the scene around 6:10 p.m. on March 31 after reports that a vehicle had crossed the centre line, nearly causing a head-on collision before veering into a ditch.
No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the driver was charged with careless driving.
