Emergency crews responded to a fire at a large home on Merrydale Court in Brampton on Wednesday morning.
Peel Regional Police said the call came in at about 7:09 a.m. Brampton Fire and Emergency Services reported that the blaze was put out by 8:30 a.m., with both primary and secondary searches of the residence completed.
No injuries were reported, and officials confirmed the house was unoccupied at the time. The property sustained significant damage, and access to Merrydale Court was restricted throughout the morning.
