A Wednesday evening fire in Gravenhurst caused an estimated $100,000 to $150,000 in damage after spreading through two camper trailers.
Firefighters were called just before 6:30 p.m. and arrived to find a large trailer completely engulfed, with flames already extending to a second trailer that had been enclosed with additional framing and siding. Crews managed to contain the blaze to those two structures, preventing it from reaching a nearby home.
The homeowners were able to stay safely inside their house while firefighters worked to protect the property. No injuries were reported.
