A late-night fire at an abandoned house in Richmond Hill prompted evacuations in the surrounding area, though no injuries were reported.
The blaze broke out on Yongehurst Road near Kersey Crescent on Sunday night. Due to heavy smoke, nearby homes were temporarily evacuated as emergency crews responded.
Authorities confirmed that no one was hurt. Residents are being advised to stay away from the area while crews continue to manage the scene.
