A collision involving an Ontario Provincial Police cruiser and a dump truck caused lane closures on Highway 400 in Bradford Friday morning.

Police say the officer was heading to an emergency call in the northbound lanes near County Road 88 around 10:30 a.m. when another vehicle cut off the dump truck, forcing it into the cruiser and the highway barrier.

No injuries were reported. Authorities have charged the driver accused of cutting off the truck with careless driving.

Two northbound lanes were temporarily closed during the investigation but have since reopened.
