A tractor-trailer incident forced the closure of a Highway 401 off-ramp in Whitby for much of Sunday afternoon.
The eastbound ramp leading to Lake Ridge Road South was blocked just before noon after the truck went off the roadway and into a ditch. Crews remained at the scene for several hours to recover the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
The ramp reopened just before 5:30 p.m.
