Halton Regional Police have closed a section of Ninth Line in Halton Hills after a tractor-trailer collided with a hydro pole Tuesday morning.
Police say the crash occurred just after 8 a.m. north of Steeles Avenue when the transport truck left the roadway and struck the pole. No injuries were reported.
Debris and downed wires have blocked the road between Steeles Avenue and 5 Side Road. The closure is expected to last several hours while crews make repairs, and drivers are being urged to use alternate routes.
