Waterloo Regional Police have closed part of Northfield Drive East in Woolwich Township after a tractor incident caused multiple construction poles to collapse.
Police said the closure began around 4 p.m. Tuesday between Jigs Hollow Road and Sawmill Road.
Investigators say a tractor struck a support wire, bringing down several poles in the construction area. No injuries were reported.
Authorities expect the road to remain closed for several hours while crews complete cleanup and repairs.
