Two trailers were destroyed in a fire north of Elliot Lake earlier this week, according to local fire officials.
Crews responded Tuesday morning to Panel Mine Road after receiving reports of a trailer fire. When firefighters arrived, both trailers were already engulfed in flames. Emergency crews worked to stop the fire from spreading to nearby trailers and the surrounding forested area.
No injuries were reported. Fire Chief John Thomas said the fire was determined to be accidental and not considered suspicious. He also praised firefighters for their fast response and efforts in containing the blaze.
