A streetcar derailment at the intersection of Queen Street East and Coxwell Avenue caused transit disruptions Monday morning.
Toronto police reported no injuries but warned of delays in the area, urging drivers and transit users to find alternate routes. TTC spokesperson Stuart Green said the cause of the derailment has not yet been determined and crews are focused on safely returning the streetcar to the tracks.
The 501 Queen streetcar is detouring via Gerrard Street East, with shuttle buses operating to accommodate passengers.
