A transport truck caught fire following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 417 in Russell, east of Ottawa, early Saturday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the incident shortly before 5 a.m. No injuries or deaths were reported.
The eastbound lanes were shut down between Limoges Road and St. Guillaume Road while crews worked to clear the scene and police conducted their investigation. Firefighters remained at the location during the response.
The highway was fully reopened by approximately 4:25 p.m.
