A house fire in Fergus on Wednesday afternoon prompted an emergency response but resulted in no reported injuries.
Crews were called to a home on Courtney Street around 3 p.m., where residents and nearby neighbours were evacuated as a precaution.
The road was closed for several hours while firefighters worked to contain the blaze, but has since reopened.
Police say the fire is not considered suspicious.
