Morning traffic was disrupted in Kitchener on Thursday after a two-vehicle collision forced the temporary closure of the Freeport Bridge.
The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. on King Street East near Riverbank Drive, in the Chicopee area. The vehicles were involved in a collision on the bridge spanning the Grand River.
Waterloo Regional Police said no injuries were reported. However, the bridge was closed while crews worked to clear the vehicles from the roadway.
The closure lasted for just over an hour, with traffic beginning to move again around 8:45 a.m.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
