A section of Weber Street East in Kitchener was closed Monday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash damaged a hydro pole.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to the collision around 3 p.m. after a vehicle struck the pole. No injuries were reported, but the roadway was shut down between Fairview Avenue and Borden Avenue to allow for hydro repairs.
Police said the closure was expected to continue for several hours into Monday night.
