A large fire in Gravenhurst led to a lengthy emergency response Saturday night, with part of Bethune Drive North closed for several hours.
Bracebridge OPP reported around 7:15 p.m. that the road was closed between Winewood Avenue East and Industrial Drive as crews responded to the fire. The fire broke out at a mixed office and garage building with the contents inside catching fire, prompting all three local fire stations to respond, along with crews from Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes.
Firefighters eventually brought the blaze under control, and no injuries were reported. The road reopened early Sunday morning.
The Ontario Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause and circumstances of the fire.
