Police are investigating a garage fire in Mississauga early Sunday morning that is believed to have been deliberately set. Emergency crews were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. to a home on Kempton Park Drive near Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Avenue West, where firefighters encountered visible flames and heavy smoke. Officials said the blaze was limited to the garage and did not spread into the house.
The fire was brought under control, and no injuries were reported. Following an initial assessment, investigators determined the blaze may have been intentional and are treating the incident as suspected arson. Peel Regional Police have not provided further details at this time.
