Residents on a Brampton street were evacuated Sunday afternoon after a gas leak was discovered behind a residential unit.
Peel Regional Police reported the incident around 4:48 p.m. near Seaborn Road and Bingham Road, describing the situation as a dangerous condition.
As a precaution, all homes on the affected street were evacuated while Brampton Fire and Emergency Services and Enbridge Gas crews responded to locate and repair the leak.
No injuries were reported.
Police asked the public to stay away from the area while emergency crews worked. Repairs were expected to take approximately two to three hours.
