Fire crews responded to a garage fire at a home in Barrie’s west end on Friday afternoon.
Officials say the call came in just after 12:30 p.m. on Pringle Drive, prompting a large response that included five tanker trucks to tackle the flames and heavy smoke. Witnesses reported that several motorcycles and a vehicle were inside the garage when the fire broke out.
Firefighters were able to bring the situation under control in about an hour. No injuries were reported, and the extent of the damage has not yet been determined.
