Peel Regional Police are probing a fire that broke out at a Brampton residence early Wednesday.
Crews were dispatched around 4:40 a.m. to a home on Saddlecreek Court, near Highway 407 and McLaughlin Road South. The property and several neighbouring houses were evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries have been reported.
Police initially indicated the blaze was being investigated as a possible arson, but later clarified that it is not currently considered suspicious. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
