A multi-vehicle collision shut down five lanes of Highway 401 in Mississauga during the Monday morning commute.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes near Winston Churchill Boulevard at about 8:30 a.m., prompting the closure of the five right lanes and the adjacent shoulder, according to the province’s traffic information system.
Ontario Provincial Police said four vehicles were involved, but no injuries were reported.
All lanes have since reopened.
