A major fire overnight in London has left a home with more than $500,000 in damage.
London firefighters were dispatched to Grey Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. after reports of a blaze. Upon arrival, crews found the structure engulfed in thick smoke and intense flames.
Firefighters initially entered the house to battle the fire from inside, but worsening conditions forced commanders to evacuate crews and switch to an exterior aerial response to bring the blaze under control.
No one was injured in the incident. Investigators from the fire department, along with London police, are working to determine what sparked the fire.
