A semi-detached home in Markham sustained extensive damage after a fire broke out Monday night.
Firefighters were dispatched to a residential cul-de-sac near Rose Way and Natalie Court, in the area of Ninth Line and Highway 7, shortly before 9 p.m.
The blaze involved both the residence and a vehicle parked nearby, according to authorities. The home was evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
Several fire trucks remained at the scene as crews worked to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
