A 61-year-old Oakville man has died following a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in Mono on Saturday morning.
Dufferin OPP said emergency crews responded to the crash on Hockley Road, also known as County Road 7, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Investigators determined the incident involved two vehicles, including the motorcycle ridden by the victim.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Police say Hockley Road will remain closed between Hurontario Street and Second Line EHS for several hours as members of the Technical Collision Investigation unit examine the scene.
Authorities are asking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage related to the crash to contact OPP.
