One person was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Sudbury on Saturday.
Greater Sudbury Police said the collision happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Municipal Road 80, north of the Notre Dame Avenue and LaSalle Boulevard intersection.
Police said a vehicle travelling southbound crossed into the northbound lane and struck an oncoming vehicle. The southbound driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A young passenger in that vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were also hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
