One person has died following a early morning two-vehicle crash near Stratford.
Emergency crews responded around 5:30 a.m. Friday to a collision on Highway 8, west of Sebringville. Police say three people were airlifted to hospital by Ornge Ambulance. A 35-year-old driver from one of the vehicles was later pronounced dead, while two occupants from the other vehicle remain in critical condition.
The crash led to the temporary closure of Highway 8 between Perth Road 140 and Perth Road 145 as investigators examined the scene. The roadway has since reopened, and the investigation is ongoing.
