A 37-year-old driver was killed and another driver suffered life-threatening injuries following a head-on collision in Kingston Tuesday morning.
Kingston police responded to the crash on Battersea Road, between Aragon Road and Downsview Drive, at around 8:30 a.m.
Police said a northbound white SUV and a southbound black SUV were involved in an offset front-end collision. The 37-year-old driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers in that SUV were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 40-year-old driver of the other SUV was also hospitalized with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
