A fatal two-vehicle crash in Halton Hills claimed the life of one driver Tuesday morning.
Halton Regional Police say the collision occurred around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and 32 Sideroad. Investigators report a northbound dump truck struck an eastbound white Hyundai Elantra.
The driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the car was transported to a trauma centre outside the region with life-threatening injuries. The dump truck driver was not hurt.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
