A section of Highway 402 was closed for much of Tuesday after a collision involving two transport trucks in the westbound lanes near Nauvoo Road.
Emergency crews responded to the crash shortly after 6:30 a.m., prompting the closure of the highway between Kerwood Road and Nauvoo Road while the damaged tractor-trailers were removed from the scene.
One driver was taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The highway reopened to traffic shortly before 4 p.m.
