A firefighter was hurt while battling a fire at an auto repair shop in Etobicoke early Wednesday.
The blaze broke out shortly after midnight at a building on Tupper Avenue, near Horner and Kipling avenues. When crews arrived, they encountered intense flames coming from the roof.
Firefighters managed to bring the situation under control, but one crew member was injured during the response. Paramedics said the firefighter was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
