A sedan driver suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision with a pickup truck in Norfolk County on Friday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police said the crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. on Colonel Talbot Road between Bell Mill Side Road and County Road 30, near Courtland.

The sedan driver was airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, while the pickup truck driver was not injured.

Police expect the road to remain closed for several hours as the investigation continues and are asking motorists to avoid the area and obey road closure signs.
